Joyce Adams So is a young creative raised off Slauson and Jefferson Boulevards in Culver City and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Her objective is to synthesize her passions for the arts and music, especially in the digital media landscape, where her creative talent excels. She has a strong natural eye for color and design, which she implements daily through her work as a stylist and visual merchandiser. Whether it be planning an event, styling, creating digital content for the brands she works with or producing a podcast, she believes that her ability to come up with great ideas and ultimately implement them is what sets her apart from the crowd.
Though she is extremely passionate about her education, she decided to take a hiatus from Tulane University in New Orleans and returned to Los Angeles eager to kickstart her career. She is currently a stylist at a high-end women's boutique in West Hollywood and her clients include many entertainment and industry professionals. Additionally, she just started work as a producer for Marisa Mendez's hip-hop entertainment podcast, Marisa Explains It All.
Ultimately, she plans to continue working with platforms that connect music, design and the arts, as well as civic engagement. Through her work in media, she hopes to gain the strategies necessary to highlight the voices of underrepresented and underserved communities.
